R. v. T.D.

(unreported) – Client charged with assault, choking, threats, confinement and obstruction of justice.   Charges stayed at trial after cross-examination of the essential witness.

R. v. P.A.L.

(unreported) – Client was acquitted of assault and uttering threats after trial on grounds that the trial judge was left with a reasonable doubt based upon problems with the complainants…

R. v. C.J.C

(unreported) – Client charged with criminal harassment, assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm.   Client successfully resisted a Crown adjournment application.

R. v. R.S.E.

(unreported) – Client charged with Break and Enter and mischief.   Client was acquitted after trial on the basis of frailties in the identification evidence.

R. v. L.R.

(unreported) – Client hired defence after being detained by a Court of Queen’s Bench Justice.

R. v. P.A.L.

(unreported) – Client charged with a home invasion robbery.   Charges stayed mid-trial due to extreme frailties in the identification evidence.

(unreported) – Client charged with robbery and assault.   Defence successfully resisted a crown adjournment on the date of trial due procurement issues.

R. v. C.S.

(unreported) – Client charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, resisting arrest and other charges began trial as an unrepresented accused.

R. v. J.B.

(Unreported, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench) – Client was charged with criminal negligence causing death in an incident involving a collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian.

(unreported) – Client charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.   Charges stayed at preliminary inquiry.

R. v. L.A.

(Presently Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client was charged with trafficking in crack cocaine.   Police conducted an undercover buy with a person alleged to be the Client.

R. v. D.S.

Client charged with a sixty thousand dollar trust theft (theft from employer). Despite the Crown’s request for jail, the defence obtained a rare conditional sentence order.  

R. v. F.I.

(Presently Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client charged with Robbery and Extortion.   Client acquitted after trial on the basis of frailties with eyewitness identification.  

R. v. P.A.L.

(unreported) – Client charged with a home invasion robbery.   Charges stayed mid-trial due to extreme frailties in the identification evidence.  

R. v. T.B.D.

(Presently Unreported, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench) – Client charged with sexual assault.

R. v. J.M.C.

(Unreported, Alberta Court of Appeal) – Client charged with the possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.   Obtained bail pending appeal.

A. J. No. 169 (Alta. P. C. ) – Client acquitted after trial of impaired care or control of a motor vehicle.

R. v. T.T.

(Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in approximately 5 pounds of cannabis marijuana.

R. v. G.S.

(Unreported, Alta. P. C. ) – Client plead guilty to cultivating opium for the purpose of trafficking.   This was the first case of its kind in Alberta.

R. v. S.B.

(Unreported, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench) – Client charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking crack cocaine.

R. v. R.R.R.

(Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client charged with armed robbery.   The Client was alleged to have robbed a store with handgun.

R. v. J.W.

(Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting.   Defence counsel secured reasonable bail after a contested hearing.

R. v. M.P.

(Unreported, Alberta Provincial Court) – Client was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault arising from a robbery and stabbing in a Calgary liquor store.
